In the opposite direction, 50 public vehicles, including 50 vehicles, have been sued and fined.
Traffic police started the drive to prevent crossing of cars and motorcycles in front of the state guest house Sugandha in the capital around 4pm on Sunday. The operation lasted for almost two hours.
Police sources said that among the cars fined and sued in the drive, there is also a car from Social Minister of Social Welfare Nuruzzaman Ahmed, from the car to the secretary, judge, government team leader, police and journalists.
Dhaka Metropolitan Traffic Police (Ramna Zone) Senior Assistant Commissioner Alauddin said around 50 vehicles were fined and cases were filed in the drive from 4pm to 6pm. Of these, 40 are said to be the cars of government high officials.
During the operation Dhaka Metropolitan Police Additional Commissioner (Traffic) said. Mosleh Uddin along with other senior officials were present.
Meanwhile, during the campaign, the Anti Corruption Commission (ACC) chairman Iqbal Mahmud was passing by the venue. During this operation, he appreciated the traffic police and advised to continue the operation in future.
