Benapole correspondent:Indian police handed over five Bangladeshi women to Benapole after 3 years of trafficking in India by false temptation In India they were in the custody of a shelter home named ‘Dialogue’.
On Friday afternoon, Petrapol Immigration Police of India handed them over to Benapole Immigration Police.
Soma Akhter (20), Hosnara Begum (19), Shilpi Akhter (21), Selina Begum (22) and Jasmin Akhter (20) were returning from the spot. They have different areas of Barisal, Pirojpur, Chittagong and Sunamganj districts.
Omar Sharif, in-charge of Benapole checkpost immigration said, the brokers took them on their way to India by saying good things. After arresting them, police arrested them from Bangalore city of India and sent them to jail. From there ‘dialogue’ an NGO organization kept them in their shelter. Then they were brought back to the special travel permit granted by the Home Ministry to the Home Ministry.
Human rights organization Rites Jessore, taking them from Benapole Port Police station, will take them out and inform them about the phases.
